The most unhinged mermaid I’ve ever made (well…maybe) a Trash Can Mermaid!
Except, on further inspection, the slightly crumpled old trash can isn’t the mermaid - a sneaky little mermaid rat is hiding in plain sight, about to steal some pizza!
There’s lots of details on this piece, the watercolor mermaid tail, shells, and inside is a big starfish.
The trash can itself serves as a large trinket dish or jewelry box, tons can fit in there. it’s big enough for a small candy dish, really.
Handmade by me from polymer clay, hand painted.
Measures about 4 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide.
